J. Crew Liquor Store

All photos by Brian Berman via A Continuous Lean

Last weekend while out holiday shopping, I finally made my way to the new J. Crew Mens Shop, and was blown away by its decor! Offering a well-curated selection of limited edition pieces, everyday staples and vintage accessories, the store was designed by Andy Spade and his business partner Anthony Sperduti. Spade's advice for cultivating personal style: "Go Back to your history and where you came from. Research things that are special to you and not available to everyone." His wonderful piece of advice can easily be applied to both decorating and gift giving this holiday season.

Loving the wall color and black shade sconces!

They even have a rotating art exhibition in the fitting rooms! Loving the light fixtures and wall color too :)

From 1985 to 1990 I lived on White St btwn Church & Bway. I recognized that store front from the painted words at the top immediately. It's White & W Bway. Was abandoned for most of the time I lived there. Very pretty building.

Thanks everybody!

Deanna- that's so cool you recognize it! I read that they wanted to keep the building "as is" (so it felt like it was always there?) so it's cool to get feedback from a local ;)

And wow, I can't believe I forgot to mention where it's located! It's in Tribecca at 235 West Broadway, and is by no means "new" (it's been there since August!) but it's the first time I've ventured that way.

Would love to see this store in person! It reminds me of the billy ried stores. I love the way those stores are decorated, too.

I love the new concept stores that J.Crew has been introducing. Have you been to the Collection store on 79th and Madison? It is gorgeous!

Wow. If this is where men's style lives, I'd love to move it. I hadn't heard of this place before. Is it a dream?

Actually these pics remind me of the Nordstrom flagship store in Seattle, ala 1989. Still gorgeous though.
