After seeing Anna's recent portrait postings at Absolutely Beautiful Things, I thought I'd share with you some sneaky iPhone pics of Fishs Eddy! This little dinnerware/china shop near Union Square is jam packed with nostalgic pieces and vintage goodies. The portraits are everywhere (check out the gallery wall below!) but unfortunately are not for sale...

Thanks all :) I have a minor obsession with the polka dot china too! And Paul- you're right- Cath Kidston did have a very similar print. Anna- I'm so glad you liked the portraits! I had you in mind when I took these pics ;)

Where exactly is this store. I'd love to visit.
Hi! Its the first time I am here, and I love what I see. Thank you for the inspiration. I am coming back. Have a nice weekend :-)
Thanks again everyone! You are the best readers a girl could ask for ;)
Me, Myself, & I- the store is located across from ABC Home in New York City at 889 Broadway. If you get off at the Union Square stop it's only a few blocks away (plus you can swing by ABC while you're at it;)
Katarina- I'm so happy you found my blog and that you like it! Hope to have you back soon :)
I would love this place and he gallery of portrait is stunning ( a source of inspiration , may be )
I love the portraits mixed into the store. I have a friend and he takes old portraits and paints on them. His beehive hairdo lady says on it "The higher the hair the closer to God" and is signed Sister Louisa. Love love love it.
